Responsible for full complement of daily management of operations, including: planning, human resource management, financial accountability, quality assessment and improvement, regulatory compliance, and productivity management. Is responsible for developing and implementing the department specific tactical plan that is in alignment with the overall hospital strategic plan. Collaborates with a care team of clinical, administrative, and medical staff to guide continual process improvement initiatives in the adoption of evidence-based practice.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Develops an operating practice budget in collaboration with the care management team, administration and other practice leaders. Accountable to make operational adjustments to achieve positive e financial outcomes (i.e. Site Action Plans, Staff and Ph! ysician Productivity). Partners with the care management team ! and Professional Billing Team to ensure that all revenue cycle management thresholds are met.

Charges are accurately coded and posted to the patient account in a timely manner (i.e. % collections, missing encounters, insurance errors report). Provides effective employee resource management, including appropriate staff scheduling, hiring, training, evaluating, mentoring, coaching, and disciplinary processes. Creates and promotes an organizational culture that reflects a commitment of excellence to quality, safety, and patient care experience that is consistent with organizational guidelines and/or regulatory standards.

Ensures that the care management team delivers and Excellence in Care Experience for all, meeting organizational standards (Patient Satisfaction, Team Satisfaction, 3rd Next Available Appointment, and Patient Cycle Times). Facilitates and creates a learning organization by utilizing current organizational engagement and process improvement in! itiatives (i.e. LEAN, Collaborative Change Teams). Takes initiative to be an organizational resource to lead and or actively participate in projects and committees.

Identifies and participates in opportunities for promoting and marketing the organization. Required Qualifications: Five or more years of progressive management experience. Two years of team leadership experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and / or experience.

Currently a Practice Manager with 5-7 years of experience. Preferred: Master’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, Health Services Administration or related Credentials/Licensure As deemed appropriate according to educational background Basic understanding of medical coding, billing and collections. Experience with process improvement and team engagement initiatives. Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to comfortably inter! act with diverse populations Demonstrated ability to work collaborative! ly in a team-oriented environment with a strong customer service orientation Ability to handle patient and organizational information in a confidential manner Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to create and work within a collaborative team environment.
