Under the direction of the lead Information Systems Analyst and IT Manager, provide IT support for the instructional, research and administrative components of the department. Provide technical support for a heterogeneous computing environment, which includes Linux, Mac and Windows systems. Consult with users on hardware and software issues. Investigate and recommend improved hardware and software for departmental users. Build, repair and upgrade computer hardware. Install and configure operating systems and software on a broad variety of platforms. Set up networking, printing and remote access for departmental users. Troubleshoot hardware, software and networking issues. Update and maintain the department websites, custom applications (e.g. forms system) and LMS course sites (Moodle and Canvas). Modify, debug, test and document database-driven web applications. Create and maintain user documentation. Work with campus-wide organizations (ITS, CAT, Library, etc.) to meet departmental needs.
