Job Description:
Client is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team working on cutting-edge projects for one of our top clients in Moline, IL . As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing, coding, configuring, and testing programs and systems for applications, primarily using ReactJS, NodeJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Redux.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, code, and test software applications using ReactJS, NodeJS, TypeScript, and other relevant technologies.
- Evaluate and implement enhancement design solutions to improve software application cost, quality, and performance.
- Analyze assignments and determine software specifications to achieve objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to ensure features meet business needs.
- Follow industry-standard agile software design methodology for development and documentation.
- Mentor junior software engineers and lead engineering practices alongside the engineering manager.
Requirements:
- Excellence in verbal and written communication with emphasis on persuasive communication, tact, and negotiation.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities/requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing in ReactJS.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing in JavaScript (TypeScript) and Node.JS.
- Hands-on experience implementing, testing, and supporting Restful APIs.
- Test Driven Development, test automation, CI/CD - AWS.
- Product design, test, and/or analysis experience.
- Experience in Agile Development.
