Provides and facilitates patient care through the application of nursing process and implementation of physician orders within the framework of established policies, procedures, standards, an! d guidelines for patients in specific clinical settings. A high level of independent judgment is used in planning and delegating care and in the evaluation of outcomes. Graduate of an approved registered nurse (RN) program. Bachelor of Science, Nursing preferred. Current registered nurse license in the state of Michigan. Basic cardiac life support (BCLS) certification. Certification in specialty area. Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification required in specialty areas preferred. Experience in a health care setting. Experience in an acute health care setting preferred.
