Professional caregiver, utilizes the nursing process to provide quality patient (resident) care. Responsible and accountable for prescribing, delegating, supervising and coordinating all nu! rsing care to assigned patients. Practice in accordance with the Michigan Public Health Code (Nurse Practice Act) and the organizations/departments standards. Interacts with all departments in the organization. Must demonstrate competency in caring for age specific groups as determined by department scope.
Minimum Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Currently licensed in the State or Michigan. BCLS/CPR certification within three (3) months of employment. Individual departments/units may have additional requirements.
