Under general supervision and following hospital policy and procedure, provides professional nursing care to patients. Assesses patient ca! re needs, plans and implements nursing care procedures, evaluates patient progress and modifies care plan as necessary. Provides teaching to patients and their families. Directs the work of nursing support staff through the use of appropriate delegation and supervision skills. A. Minimum Education: Successful completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program. B. Minimum Work Experience: Graduate nurse. Previous experience highly preferred. C. Certification, Licensure, Registration: Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan. Successful Healthcare Provider course completion.
