- 2 years clinical experience required in related fields.
- Acute care experience required.
Bronson Methodist Hospital has an immediate opening for an on call Rapid Response Team Registered Nurse in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
The Rapid Response Team (RRT) RN is a registered nurse with critical care experience who responds to rapid response team calls! .
Under the direction of a credentialed NP or physici! an, the RRT RN can perform comprehensive assessments and promote health and the prevention of illness and injury.
M
anages the care delivery for patients in the organization utilizing established protocols throughout the length of stay to achie
ve quality outcomes and timely discharge by the following:

Utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, diagnosing, implementation and evaluation
·
Coordinating the care provided by other professionals
·
Delegating selected acts, tasks or functions that fall within the scope of professional nursing practice and the abilities of patient care assistants and universal service assistants.
·
Providing selected aspects of physical care within the scope of professional nursing practice as appropriate given the patient's level of acuity and complexity of care required
·
Documenting and communicating during e! ach tour of duty the patient's response to care provided, consumption of resources and anticipated needs.
BSN with a minimum of two years of recent critical care experience. Preferably in a masters or doctoral level program pursuing a degree as a nurse practitioner. Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan. Current Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification. Current Basic Life support (BLS) certification required
