Registered Nurses /RN Position Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, our nurses provide skilled nursing care to residents in long term care, rehab, or dementia care. Nurses are responsible for collaborating with physicians and inter-multidisciplinary team members, overseeing the daily operations with regards to planning, coordinating and managing nursing care, nursing services and health education to nursing home residents and providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families. I! n addition, our RN Nurses will delegate and evaluate care assigned to CNAs to meet patient care needs.
Registered Nurses /RN Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates must possess excellent customer service skills, strong clinical, analytical and assessment skills and value the team approach to nursing care. Previous long term care experience preferred. RNs must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associates or Bachelor degree. The candidate must have an active license with the State of Michigan and have the knowledge, skill and ability to calculate & administer medications according to policies & procedures, monitor effectively the care of the patient & do audits to assure adequate care is administered by CNAs. Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and have the physical ability to lift, bend, pivot, transfer and/or lift and position residents.
CNA Position Summary: As a CNA, your job responsibilities will inc! lude assisting residents with activities of daily living, inclusive of ! bathing, dressing, and grooming; transferring patients to and from their activities and meals as well as reporting changes in residents eating habits or condition to a supervisor. You will assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
CNA Job Requirements: Must be a CNA in the State of Michigan, long-term healthcare experience preferred. You must have a high school diploma or equivalent. This job requires good physical and mental health. Physical activities may include lifting, rotating and assisting Residents who are partially or totally dependent for moving about; other physical requirements of the CNA include stooping, bending, standing and walking most of the shift. The CNA must be willing and able to work a flexible shift.
