The new Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital (SMH) has immediate openings for full and part-time Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for our Hospitalist Program and our Walk-In Clinic. This position offers competitive wage and benefits as well as a flexible schedule without call.
PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICIATIONS:
1. Completion of education and training required for PA licensure in Michigan.
2. Current license as a Ph! ysician Assistant by the State of Michigan.
3. Experience ! as a Hospitalist preferred, but not necessary.
NURSE PRACTITIONER CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
2. Current licensure in the State of Michigan as an RN.
3. National Certification Exam for Certification as Nurse Practitioner.
4. Master of Science in Nursing.
5. Experience as a Hospitalist preferred but not necessary.
Candidates must also possess strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Candidates must be self motivated, assertive and innovative with excellent assessment skills.
