The Stand Restaurants is a fast-casual dining restaurant with 15 locations across Orange County, Los Angeles, and Houston Texas. We are growing fast, with plans to open 3-4 new locations per year. We’re Looking for Cashiers that have the following Qualification:
- Outgoing personalities
- Friendly positive attitudes
- Passion for great food and customer service
- Ability to work well with others
- An overwhelming desire to go above and beyond to provide a great guest experience
Things you can expect to do while working as a cashier
- Greeting guests
- Taking orders at the register
- Promoting our Stand App so our guests can get rewards
- Cashiering
- Running orders to guests
- Keeping the restaurant clean and organized
- Baking cookies and brownies
- Portioning sauces and our amazing pickles
- Following all cash management and cash register policies and ensuring proper cash management practices are followed
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Preparing food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Following recipes and presentation specifications
- Ability to use restaurant tools and equipment
- Cleaning and maintaining restaurants by practicing good safety and sanitation
- Must be 21 years of age or older
Working Conditions
- Frequent walking and standing for long periods of time
- Ability to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly
- Repetitive bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- Repetitive use of hands, including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
- Occasionally access high storage shelving with the use of a step ladder
- Lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals
- Exposure to varying temperatures, including freezers, refrigerators, indoor air conditioning and outdoor/patio conditions
Schedule
- Monday through Friday (Weekends Off) Shift: 8AM-2PM
Compensation
- Competetive Pay
- Participation in The Stand tip pool, with average tips of approximately $3 - $4 per hour
