Sentara is hiring an HR Representative for the HR Solutions Team!


This position is a Flexi/PRN status with flexible work hours and is fully remote. 15-20 hours per week, up to 40 hours per week as needed.


Remote opportunities are available in the following states: Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming


Required Qualifications:


  • Minimum 1-year experience in Human Resources and/or customer support experience with an Associate or Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 3 or more years of Human Resources experience and/or customer support instead of a degree
  • Basic knowledge of HR Solutions


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelors Degree


Primary responsibilities include:


  • Delivers service professionally and efficiently, providing prompt assistance while managing expectations to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Provides real-time, accurate, and comprehensive responses to telephone and written inquiries regarding general HR-related issues, policies, procedures, and processes
  • Escalates complex issues, where applicable
  • Processes employee-related transactions accurately based on research, employee-specific information, and process guidelines
  • Maintains appropriate documentation and records for HR-related cases in the HR Help Desk

For applicants within Washington State, the following hiring range will be applied: $16.80-25.96/hr.
