Scope of Responsibility:
To provide wellbeing related services to employees of Disney. Such services may include but not limited to: exercise floor supervision, group exercise instruction, education and coaching. Supervise operations of the Hyperion Health Club in accordance with guidelines during assigned shifts ensuring a safe and secure environment. Coordination of programs supporting strategy.
Essential Functions:
- Perform front desk responsibilities, including but not limited to: Answering phones, emailing members, fielding questions, eligibility, etc.
- Register new participants and provide orientation to the H.H.C and introduction of programs
- By request, complete fitness assessments and consult on fitness routine development that minimizes risks and improves health.
- Open, supervise and close facility as needed as part of work shift assignments ensuring cross shift coverage at all times.
- Instruct employees on the proper use of equipment.
- Assist in maintaining the facility and equipment with intermittent cleaning and preventive maintenance servicing.
- Assist in group exercise instruction and class design
- Coordinate programs and initiatives supporting wellness strategy; manage program logistics
- Assist in gathering metrics and tracking employee program utilization
- Assist in assessing program outcomes
- Provide an exceptional employee experience through customer service and program driven offerings
- Collect program feedback to change and implement future wellbeing offerings

Qualifications:
- Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification
- 4-year degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion or related field preferred
- Holds one more certifications from various personal trainer and/or group exercise related organizations
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $38,500 to $62,500 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
