Clinical Quality Manager

Description: Integrated Health Associates (IHA) is currently seeking to employ Clinical Quality Manager right now, this position will be placed in Michigan. The Clinical Quality Manager position assists the Director of Quality with the growth and development of IHA’s Quality and Performance Improvement framework promoting the delivery of quality care through the judicious use of resources and will be accountable for general duties and responsibilities as follows:
- Promote integration of Quality and Performance Improvement/CQIC projects across office practices.
- Provides leadership for divisional activities that implement PCMH, ACO, OSC, and traditional care models.
- Identify and facilitate divisional evidenced-based clinical process/ outcomes.
- Support Director of Quality in implementation of clinical practice, education and research initiatives that support clinical improvement across divisions.
- Understand data management principles & reporting related to clinical projects.
- LEAN process improvement that support quality initiatives to support Quality and Performance Improvement initiatives.
2. Licensed by the state of Michigan to practice, as a registered nurse.
3. Bachelors or masters degree in nursing or health related field highly desirable.
4. A minimum of 5- 10 years clinical experience required with chronic illness management, complex patient populations, managed care and/or case management experience desirable.
5. Must have a high degree of autonomy and decision making capacity. Judgment will be necessary as each case is unique and specific policies and procedures will not be established for each activity. The problem solving will be done collaboratively with the team (when appropriate) and/or with the Director of Quality or networking with other medical leadership and resources.
