The Clinical Nurse II level requires a min of 2 years Registered Nursing experience in addition to experience in the specific field of nursing noted in the posting.
The Clinical Nurse utilizes the nursing process with depth and understanding. Develops and implements plan of care for patient's based on scientific research rationale. Communicates patient outcomes & changes to multidisciplinary team members. Delegates assignments/tasks with appropriate follow-up. Contributes to achievement of unit objectives.
Develops teaching strategies for patient/family. Serves as mentor/resource for members of health care team. Maintains current knowledge in area of clinical practice.
Requires graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, with current Michigan Registered Nurse license. BLS from the American Heart Association Healthcare provider. ACLS/PALS certification with in 6 months of hire as approptiate to the popiulation served.Minimum of 2 years critical care RN experience within the previous 5 years.
Operating Room RN experience is required.
Preferred: Current, comparable Pre-op, PACU Phase I and PACU phase I and PACU Phase II experience as an RN with documented critical care experience .
Please note: Successful candidates will be considered for Pre-Op, PACU or OR, selection determined by Surgical Nursing management with relation to the experience/skill set of the candidate.
