The Clinical Transformation Lead serves as the point of contact between the local ministry implementation team, AHIS and the SJPHS Clinical Transformation team. The incumbent will be recognized as knowledgeable of the organization's culture, influential among associates and comfortable working across the entire organization. The incumbent will be recognized for leadership within the local ministry, possess excellent communication skills, be able to facilitate change, and understand how Clinical Transformation can help to answer the Call to Action. Incumbent will have experience presenting before groups including physicians, associates, ministry leadership. Identifies the need for policy development and/or revision, defines policies in collaboration with higher level management input, goals, and objectives. Oversees or directs the development and/or revision of department procedures/protocols. Approves personnel actions such as hires, fires, disciplines, etc.; ensures the timely completion of performance appraisals; develops current to intermediate goals and measures for area of responsibility; and measures and assesses performance. Assists in development of and monitors budget for department. Incumbent will be a member of the executive leadership team with full access to all site leadership and associates.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Required Certifications, Registration or Licensure
:
- Certification, Registration and/or Licensure as appropriate by the State of Michigan
:
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Health Science or related field
- Knowledge of Six sigma, workout and Change Acceleration Process preferred
- Experience leading initiatives in a matrixed team environment
:
- 3-5 years in a clinical related environment, nursing preferred
- Three years of progressively more responsible leadership experience
- Experience with healthcare information technology and various vendor product applications
- Project Management/Process Improvement experience preferred
