Maintains responsibility and accountability for nursing operations. In collaboration with the VP of Nursing, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing services. Assures! coordination of patient care services across the continuum. Establishes an interdisciplinary approach to nursing program and care planning. Works with the VP of Nursing to realize the mission and vision of the organization. Plans and implements policies, procedures, guidelines and standards in compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in nursing related program. Licensed as a registered nurse to practice nursing in Michigan
Minimum of 5 years of related experience and 5 to 7 years demonstrated mangement experience
Demonstrated experience in team building skills, self-directed work teams, and respectful leadership
Demonstarted ability strategic planning and business planning as well as program development
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Masters Degree in related program
