This position organizes, prioritizes, coordinates and administers individualized, professional patient care to patients. Provides quality nursing care as direc! ted by medical staff and in accordance with objectives, polici! es and procedures of the hospital and the State Nurse Practice Act. Maintains the standards of nursing care as established. Participates in Performance Improvement. Participates in unit meetings and inservices. Applies knowledge of pa¬tient education, discharge planning, patient referrals and ethical and legal implications as necessary. Able to assess and reassess infants, children, adolescents and adults of all ages. Complies with standards of confidentiality, Patient's Bill of Rights, and the EMTALA Law. Follows Corporate Responsibility policies and completes modules as required.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required.
BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
Previous medical/surgical RN experience required.
Must possess traits of individual professional growth.
