This is a part-time (24 hrs/wk) Registered Nurse position available in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Hours will vary between 6a-6p. There a! re rotating weekend and on-call requirements.
The Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) Staff RN is a professional care giver who assumes encounter-based responsibility and accountability for CCL patients and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment / instrumentation, and other health care team members. Assigns and directs the work of related staff.
Requirements: -Michigan Registered Professional Nurse licensure required.-Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) providerâ€"required.-Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) providerâ€"required, or agreement to obtain within two course offerings after inservice complete.-Competence in basic cardiac dysrhythmia interpretation and hemodynamic monitoring.-Credentialed in Conscious Sedation, will provide hospital training, within 90 days of employment.
Preferred: -Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.(must obtain within 5 years of hire date)
