Description: Washtenaw Community College is looking of Part time Instructor ECD Pain Management right now, this occupation will be placed in Michigan. Washtenaw Community College is looking for an energetic, experienced, instructor needed to facilitate evidence â€" based continuing education for soc! ial workers and/or nurses using a variety of teaching techniques. The instructor collaboratively develops and teaches classes or workshops that enhance practice, knowledge and skills of the adult learner. Work Hours: October 5, 2013, 9 am â€" noon, and varied thereafter.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have experience teaching groups of adult learners, excellent verbal and communication skills, experience in conducting literature reviews and citing sources.
- Possess a Master’s degree or higher.
- Expertise in theories of chronic pain, psychosocial factors that influence pain, and pain management, including a review of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Comfortable using audiovisual equipment, basic computer software and hardware skills.
- Experience teaching multidisciplinary learners.
