The Nurse Practitioner-Psychiatry is responsible for managing patients’ Mental Health Care in collaboration with Psychiatrists.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS!
Master’s Degree in Nursing
One - two years of medical-surgical nursing experience
Extensive contact with patients and families, physicians, medical assistants, office staff, and other health care personnel
Requires high level of analytical ability to apply clinical expertise to utilize results and interpret research findings, identify problems and recommend solutions in nursing practices procedures and patient care
Michigan RN license and certified as Adult Nurse Practitioner by the ANA and/or the National Commission for Certifying Agencies, the American Board of Nursing Specialties or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner
