Description: Metro Health is at present looking to employ RN - Registered Nurse right now, this vacancy will be placed in Michigan. The Emergency Department has an opening for a RN working full-time 9 am to 9 pm with rotating weekend requirements. The Emergency RN provides nursing care to patients requiring immed! iate interventions for a variety of medical and traumatic conditions. A broad scope of knowledge and skills are required to care for those with a variety of health problems as are strong communication skills and the ability to work with high volumes and multiple interruptions.
Requirements: -Michigan Registered Professional Nurse licensure required. -Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) providerâ€"required.-Competence in basic cardiac dysrhythmia interpretation required, will train.-Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) providerâ€"required or must obtain within 3 months of hire, will train.-Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum - required or must obtain within three (3) years of hire, will train. Re-certification required.-Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course or Pediatric Advanced Life Support - required or must obtain within three (3) years of hire, will train. Re-certification required.
