SUMMARY
The Registered Nurse (RN) at Saint Joseph Mercy Health System provide quality patient care considering age specific, developmental, cultura! l and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and ! application of the nursing process. They serve as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit and will assume accountability for nursing care of designated patients.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the development and implementation of an individualized plan of care, one that involves both patient and family and is regularly evaluated and revised. Must be able to provide evidence of efficient organizational skills, demonstrating the ability to organize and prioritize their individual workload around patient and unit needs.
Registered Nurses will have the opportunity to identify, develop and implement the plan to assure readiness for discharge. Additionally, we are seeking professional Registered Nurses who identify their aching plan based on the educational needs of the patient and their family, engaging the necessary resources own opportunities for professional growth, has participated in QI and evidence-based practice activities, int! egrating changes into practice, and is able to identify concerns and initiate appropriate follow up.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and current Michigan licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Successful candidate will be subject to mandatory vaccinations/immunizations unless they qualify for an available exemption.
