This role is equally challenging and rewarding. Within a high volume environment, you'll need to model and act as an Ambassador for the company while solving complex health care inquires The Customer Banking Coordinator acts as a customer advocate to resolve escalated and complex issues.

This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work f lexible starting normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead new customer implementation activities related to banking and claim financial reporting. Sole contact for banking setup.
  • Responsible for recommending and explaining the benefits of additional services available to customers (i.e.custodial vs. home), acting as a subject matter expert.
  • Lead banking and claim financial reporting activities related for existing customers, responding to inquires from customers and their representatives, as well as internal staff such as Account Management and Claim.
  • Work with Sales and Business Development to provide banking information for customer finalist presentations.
  • Utilize multiple system tables for coding and testing bank account set-ups.
  • Responsible for the resolution of issues working in conjunction with leadership and/or IT.
  • Review positive pay suspect items for corporate, custodial and select customer bank accounts.
  • Accountable for accuracy and appropriateness of banking optional services and related fees.
  • Represent Treasury Operations on company committees focused on workflow improvement and new account transitions when necessary.
  • Recommend and implement process and procedures changes.
  • Maintain database/worksheet for tracking banking setup.
  • Maintain reference materials related to customer banking and claim financial reporting.
  • Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
  • Provide support for other staff members within Finance.
  • Maintain online security access for disbursement reporting application.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma / GED (or higher) OR equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the fundamental practices and procedures of accounting, financial management and control.
  • Demonstrate PC skills and application of computer spreadsheets and databases
  • Beginner experience with Excel (Navigating through spreadsheets)
  • Ability to work f lexible starting normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Accounting or Core Business
  • Microsoft Access experience

  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
