Under the direction of and in coordination with the Department Manager and Chair, the Analyst responsibilities include: financial administration to include reimbursements, purchases, stipends; primary administrator for the undergraduate program including textbook ordering; academic personnel administration of hires, merits and promotions; employment and salary administration; departmental website maintenance; event planning and orchestration; customer service pertaining to daily administrative operations for faculty, staff, students and visitors in the Department of Criminology, Law and Society. This position is eligible for hybrid/remote work.

$30.00 - $35.00 (Hourly Rate) Expected Pay Range within the Full Salary Range $30.44 - $48.86 (Hourly Rate)
Required:
1-3 years of applicable experience working for an organization
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns. Solid communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and diplomatically with all levels of staff verbally and in writing. Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes. Working knowledge of common organization-specific and other computer application programs. Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality. Experience analyzing and organizing complex information and the proven ability to produce clear, comprehensive and complete reports based on that analysis. Skills in service orientation, organization, active listening, and critical thinking. Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, service orientation, active listening, critical thinking, attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a high volume environment, organizational skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment and decision making. Ability to function effectively as a member of a team. Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred:
Intermediate knowledge and understanding of internal control practices and their impact on protecting University resources. Skills to provide coaching and mentoring to support staff.
