The practice is looking to replace a colleague who left for an academic position. Work along side 5 other BC Family Practitioners & nurse assistants. Responsibilities include a wide scope of outpatient family medicine procedures with some ancillary services and no obstetrics.
The hospitalist department attends to all inpatient needs. Work schedule consist of Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with an average of 26 patients a day. The call schedule for the practice by phone is 1:5. Candidates must have either completed a Family Practice residency in the U.S.
or will be completing one soon. The compensation package includes a generous starting salary (based on experience), partnership option, an attractive bonus structure, CME, vacation, relocation allowance, full benefits and medical malpractice insurance. The hospital is a multi-campus health care provider offering a full service Outpatient Center, Inpatient Acute Care Center including surgery, Family Birth Center with over 1400 births a year, a Sleep Medicine Center and a 24 hr full service ER (with more than 46K annual visits). The hospital is also Nationally recognized for its orthopedic, vascular and cancer services.
