RN Required
Responsible to oversee and contribute to the RNs utilizing the nursing process with depth and understanding to develop and implement plans of care for patients's needs ! based on scientific research rationale.
Delegates assignments/task with appropriate follow-up. Contributes and guides the achievement of unit objectives. Develops teaching strategies for patient/family. Serves as a mentor /resource for members of the healthcare team.
Maintains current knowledge in area of clinical practice.
First line manager in the administration of nursing services within the Imaging department. Manages an allied nursing staff in a multidisciplinary team to include physician, technologist and support staff.
Acts as a lead and resource for the department to ensure JACHO and other regulatory guidelines are met. Serves as a nursing liaison with Hospital Nursing ans Medical Administration.
Responsible for staff development, scheduling, quality assessment, customer service, coordination of general patient care in Breast Imaging, CT, Ultrasound, MRI and the General Division. PSQI process owner.
Department le! ader in maintaining compliance standards with all governing ag! encies. BLS instructor and coordinator for department.
Requires graduation from an accredited School of of Nursing. Current Michigan RN licensure, BLS, ACLS from the American Heart Association health care provider and other certifications as required by the department. Ability to perform conscious sedation and work within the Radiology department.
Minimum 2 years current nursing supervisor/ management experience required.
BSN Required, Radiology experience preferred.
Speaker/educator to large groups.
Good computer skills and communication skills necessary, ability to work as a team member, and very respectful of all level of employees. Coordinates interventional services with Radiologist and department modalities.
Opportunity is Monday - Friday Rotating Holidays on call.
