Responsibilities*
12 West Mott is a 32 bed pediatric medical-surgical unit, with an age range from infant to young adult.
The primary services admitting patients here are trauma, nephrology, kidney transplant, orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, rehabilitation, and general pediatric medical patients including stable patients on a ventilator.
12 West Mott offers primarily 8-hour shifts, with 12-hour shifts available by seniority.

Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the position. Posting may be filled after the initial 5-day posting period. Required Qualifications*
Current Michigan RN license.
Graduate Nurse applicants will be considered.
- Condition of hire for Graduate Nurses: Selected GN must successfully pass N-CLEX and be licensed as a RN in the state of Michigan no later than 45 days from date of hire.
Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order ! to be interviewed and considered for the position.

Desired Qualifications*
Recent inpatient pediatric medical/surgical experience.
Demonstrate effective organizational and leadership skills.
Experience in pediatric rehabilitation.
Demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Work Schedule
Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift: Evening shift (3 PM to 11:30 PM)
Hours: 8 hour shifts
Location: C.S. Mott Children's Hospital-12 West, Pediatric Medical/Surgical Unit
Effective June 24, 2013, all new employees will be expected to float to a designated unit(s) in times of low census.
