Under moderate direction the Registered Nurse in the perioperative care of the patient undergoing surgical intervention. Provides technical assistance in the Operating Roo! m and follows the specific directions of those in supervisory roles such as the RN Circulator, Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager and Director. Includes on-call responsibilities. Demonstrates the ability to perform scrub duties for a variety of surgical specialties.
Job Requirements:
Education: Two year Associate degree in Surgical Technology from an accredited program/other related experience.
Experience: OR or other related clinical experience
Licensure: Certification Mandatory (CST)
Skills and Abilities: demonstrate OR scrub skills, knowledge of surgical procedures preferred, or related clinical experience.
