Vibra Hospital of Southeastern Michigan is currently seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team on a Per-Diem basis.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Responsible for clinical functions on the unit, including all aspects of patient care incorporating the nursing process.
- Ensure th! at the unit to which assigned shall function in a smooth, orga! nized, and efficient manner as directed by the RN/Charge RN.
- The provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care.
- Specific components of the licensed practical nurse role include ( 1) demonstrating clinical competence; ( 2) managing patient care; ( 3) improving quality of care; ( 4) establishing professional relationships and utilizing professional skills; ( 5) fulfilling responsibilities of the role of the hospital; and ( 6) developing clinical expertise per specialty.
- Graduate of accredited school of licensed practical nursing.
- Unencumbered license as a licensed practical nurse in the State of Michigan.
- One year of area specific experience preferred, one year medical/surgical experience required.
- Current CPR and immunizations ( MMR, DPT, Varicella, Hep B and TB screening) are required.
