The salary range for this position is $40,000-$42,000. We recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. HarperCollins Publishers is currently seeking a Credit Services Representative to join their team! The Credit Services Representative is responsible for the timely collection & reconciliation of all open items on accounts within their assigned portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains aging of assigned portfolio within department requirements.
- Coordinates with Customer Service, AR and all cross-function teams to resolve chargebacks, disputes & reconciliations.
- Identifies problem accounts/situations and recommends a course of action to Management.
- Adheres to corporate/department policies & procedures & meet/exceed assigned goals.
- Assists with special projects & miscellaneous duties as required.
- Maximizes systems & technology to improve efficiencies & delivers results.
- Previous credit/collection experience preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Able to perform in a high volume, high pressure, and multi-task environment
- High level of professionalism
- Proficient in Word, Excel & basic computer skills
- Strong oral & written skills
