Position Summary
Identifies, registers and maintains records of all cancer patients by utilizing cancer registry data system. A! nalyzes registry data and disseminates information in accordan! ce with professional ethics. Preserves confidentiality and security of patient data stored in cancer registry files.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Education - in Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certification, or Associates degree in Cancer Information Management, or Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan Experience - 2 years of experience Licenses - Other\Certification as Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) by the National Cancer Registrars Association
Perferred Qualifications:
Experience - cancer registry setting Licenses - NURSING\Registered Nurse (RN)*\
