Position Summary
Responsible and acc! ountable for the overall nursing care management of an assigned group of patients. Collaborates with the Nurse Manager and other members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat the patient's responses to actual or potential health conditions. Assesses, monitors, detects, plans, and takes appropriate action to prevent potential physiological complications associated with specific health problems and/or medical treatment.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Education - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing must be obtained within 7 years for those who start in this RN role on or after January 1, 2013
Experience - Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program
Licenses - Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 Days
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Preferred Qualifications:
Education - Bachelor's Degree in Nursin! g
Licenses - All must be completed by end of department orientation unless otherwise specified
