Description: Borgess Health is currently seeking to employ Registered Nurse - Joint Venture Surgery PT right now, this job will be placed in Michigan. The Registered Nurse in Outpatient Surgery, under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures provides comprehensive clinical leadership/assistance to patients, the department and participating providers in the preoperative and postoperative phases of perioperative care. In doing so, assists in processing of patient’s chart and provides patient and family with education regarding treatment care and discharge instructions. Provides care to all age groups, birth and above.
Requirements:
Qualifications
! A minimum of 12 months current work experience in surgical nur! sing required with knowledge and skills in all phases of perioperative practices.
Surgical Scrub experience Required
Educational Requirements
The Registered Nurse must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
License/Certification Required
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan required.
Maintain current BCLS and ACLS certifications.
