Metro Health is in need for a Nurse Aide to join our team! This is a Resource/on-call position available in our Progressive Care unit. A Resource position requires one to be scheduled to work 24 hours per 4 week sche! dule, comprised of two 12 hours shifts with at least one shift being on the weekend.
The Nurse Aide, under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), provide basic nursing care to patients and perform related tasks necessary to the functioning of the Progressive Care Unit.
Requirements: - High School Diploma or equivalent required- Current CENA certification required, or current enrollment (and continued progression) in a nursing program in which a nursing fundamentals course and at least one clinical rotation have been completed- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) provider requiredPreferred: - Experience in acute care or extended care facility preferred
