Coordinates the day to day operations of all patient related activity within the Surgical Services Unit. Directs, organizes and ensures that the assigned areas are properly staffed, that work policies and procedures a! re followed, and that work flows efficiently through the unites. troubleshoots problems, acts as a resource person for staff with difficult or unusual work problems and regularly performs the work of a Registered. Facilitates throughput, ensuring optimum utilization of personnel supplies and equipment. Actively participates in the resolution of sensitive conflict situations. Exemplifies Service Excellence standards of behavior. Functions as a liaison between all disciplines in consult with Surgical Services management.
Serves as resource to staff. Participates in department requirements for Charge Call as required. NOTE: FT-8-4:30 PM- Mon.-Fri.- 10 shifts/pay period. Prior POCU/PACU experience required.
