Responsibilities:
To provide patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
Duties include personal care and assistance with feeding and mobility (ambulating patient.)
Seeking a candidate with excellent communication and multi-tasking skills is highly desirable.
Required Qualification:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Candidate must have one of the following required qualifications to apply: Completed Nursing Assistant Program (Certification is required at time of interview) or Certified Nursing Assistant through the State of Michigan (must have registry document at time of interview).
Candidate with Nursing Assistant experience in a hospital or nur! sing home is highly desirable.
Required Qualificat! ion: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Provider (
www.americanheart.org
) is required. BLS card is required at time of interview.
Highly Preferred Qualification: One year hospital experience as a Nursing Assistant.
