7C is a 32 bed Adult Cardiac Telemetry/Step-down unit.
Cardiac medicine patients are admitted after invasive procedures such as balloon angioplasty ! and electrophysiology testing.
Nurses care for patients with heart failure, acute coronary syndrome as well as those evaluated for heart transplants.
Nurses complete a 6-12 week orientation with classes on basic arrhythmias and electrophysiology.
7C offers 8, 12 and 8/12 combination shift rotations.
Our RN staff and non-licensed technical staff provide highly skilled cardiac care to our patients in an atmosphere that values individual diversity and uniqueness.

Salary & Nursing Framework Level:
This UMPNC RN posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL C.
Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire.
Nursing Fr! amework levels range from Level A to Level E.

Required Qualifications:
Current licensure to practice nursing in the state of Michigan. Graduate Nurse applicants will be considered.

Hours: 36 Hours
Shift: Day/ Night rotation, 8 & 12 hour shifts; rotating every other weekend.
Location: University Hospital, Unit 7C
