This is a part-time (12 hrs/wk), day (7a-7p) position available in our Progressive Care Unit. This position has rotating weekend requirements.! Our team of Progressive Care Unit nurses work with a diverse population of adult patients in a fast-paced environment. The ability to provide a variety of care, from complex patients requiring cardiac monitoring to surgical patients with challenging post-op needs, is an essential skill for these nurses. Direct patient care responsibilities within the RN job scope.
Requirements: -Michigan Registered Professional Nurse licensure required.-Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) provider required.-Competence in Basic Cardiac Dysrhythmia interpretation required- will train.Preferred: -Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred (must obtain within 5 years of hire date)-Previous adult medical-surgical/telemetry experience preferred.-Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) provider preferred, will train
